I decided to start telling everyone a few things I have watched or read to become, as I call it, "Un-plugged."
It came about because of the AWESOME UU service today, where this wonderful woman came and sang these amazing, politically aware songs that she had written for the whole service. One time during it, she screamed out (in reference to her "evil corporation" song, which was about Nike/ Reebok) "WAl-Mart too!" I said, "Amen to that!"
I used to shop there, before I became, "Un-Plugged."
If you want to be "Un-Plugged," watchh, "WAL-Mart: The High Cost of Low Prices." Trust me folks, this isn't just about, "Oh those poor little towns that are destroyed." It is about EACH and EVERY American, and not just the ones who shop there. You and me, AND Joe Schmoe. They are literally destroying our economy, while the shoppers rave with an "expressionless smile."
Then watch, "The Corporation." And please don't leave the country like I wanted to after watching it. You and I are needed in this place we call home, to change it for the better!
