Wired

So, right now it is 2:45 in the morning on Saturday night, and Doug and I are WIDE awake.
We couldn't figure out why the hell we are so wide awake right now, when we have had a super-busy, fun day, until it just dawned on me. While playing an innocent game of Up-Words (or as we refer to it, "Up-Yours"), we made ourselves some tea. The neighbor girl brought it over a while back, and I wanted to try it. Her Mom owns an Asian restaurant, and they always have the best teas. When Doug and his Mom first saw it, they both, at different times said, "It looks like Pot. Smell it. Maybe Momma neighbor is into something more and using her restaurant as a front." (well they didn't actually say this same thing, but along those lines.) So, I smelled it and could not decipher the smell. But when I smelled it again tonight, I realized it was Jasmine flowers, which is my favorite tea. So, I made us a batch for the first game, then another the same game, then another for the next game, then another for the last game, totalling 4 whole pots of the tea. Mind you, these games are NOT short quick games. Almost as long as a scrabble game. We even ended up chewing on the flowers.
Then it hit me, I was chewing on a flower, Doug was chewing on a leaf, NO not a Jasmine flower leaf, a Green tea, caffeinated leaf! Dude, we are so screwed! This may be our first accidental all-nighter!
Doug is playing his guitar, trying to get sleepy. Which is nice background music for my blog-writing.
I think I am going to have to make a few separate blog entries tonight just for your sanity, reader, or this one could get long.
